In a strategic move to shift from "charity as a manual process" to "charity as a fintech solution, “Jordan Commercial Bank and Qatar Charity have recently signed a strategic cooperation agreement to launch the "Qatar Charity Prepaid Card" which is specifically designed for the beneficiaries of Qatar Charity’s social welfare programs.
As the first project of its kind for Qatar Charity, this initiative represents a qualitative leap in how financial support is delivered to families and beneficiaries. By transitioning from traditional distribution methods to an advanced digital system, the project ensures efficiency, transparency, and humanitarian integrity. The card enables beneficiaries to receive cash assistance promptly while maintaining their privacy and dignity. Furthermore, it promotes financial inclusion by integrating these groups into the formal banking system, making it easier for them to manage their financial resources in the future.
