As part of Jordan Commercial Bank’s strategy to provide the best and most secure services to its customers, the Bank obtained, for the second year in a row, the latest version of the PCI-DSS Certificate of Compliance related to the data security and protection of all types of bank cards and the application of the highest security and protection standards. Accordingly, Jordan Commercial Bank is one of the leading banks in Jordan to obtain this certificate in its latest version (V. 3.1).

This certificate is one of the requirements of the Central Bank of Jordan, which aims to create a safe and secure environment for dealing with bank cards for all Jordanian banks. Hence, the Bank’s obtaining of this certificate for two consecutive times comes as part of the Bank’s continuous pursuit of excellence and leadership in the quality of services provided to its customers. These services are primarily designed to meet the various banking needs of customers, using the latest and most secure technologies.

In the presence of a number of managing directors, Dr. Ramzi Al-Sunna, Random Storm’s Middle East Regional Director, handed over the certificate to Mr. Caesar Qulajen, General Manager of Jordan Commercial Bank, on behalf of the Bank.

Random Storm is a UK-based information security company. It is internationally accredited by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council. Random Storm was the entity that carried out the audits and supervision work regarding the fulfillment of the requirements for obtaining the PCI-DSS certificate.
