Jordan Commercial Bank Enhances Cybersecurity Awareness Among Its Employees
As part of its ongoing efforts to foster a cybersecurity culture and protect data, Jordan Commercial Bank recently organized a specialized cybersecurity workshop in collaboration with SMT Group, a company specializing in providing consulting and solutions in the field of information security and technology for various sectors. This workshop coincided with Cybersecurity Awareness Month, which falls in October every year.
The workshop, which was held at the bank's headquarters, targeted employees from various departments with the aim of providing them with the latest knowledge and skills needed to protect the bank's data and systems from increasing cyber threats.
The workshop covered a wide range of vital topics, including the importance of cybersecurity, highlighting the challenges facing the banking sector considering the rapid technological developments and the increase in cyberattacks, and the latest cyber threats to identify the latest cyberattack methods and how to deal with them. It also discussed data protection strategies that included best practices for protecting sensitive data and information from breaches and viruses, and ways to prevent external breaches.
