Streaming to its significant role in supporting its community and in support of social , cultural , and scientific activities , Jordan Commercial Bank sponsored the annual ceremony for Palestine International Institution for Research and Services that was held on the 20th of June 2009 at Four Seasons Amman entitled “ Palestine Night “ .

The ceremony included poetry reciting by the great Arab poet Ahmad Fuad Najim, and a group of Arab artists who sang the song entitled “ Souls Kiss “ , the song’s lyrics were written by Dr. Saleh Al Shadi , and composed by Dr. Ayman Tayseer , and performed by a number of Arab singers. All of that came as a celebration of choosing Jerusalem to be the capital of the Arab Culture for the year 2009 Its worthy to mention that the revenue of this ceremony will be dedicated for “ Mahmoud Darweesh Educational scholarship “.

Jordan Commercial Bank spokes man expressed his happiness regarding sponsoring this event which represents the strong relations between the two brethren people of Jordan & Palestine.
